Accepting Payments via Paypal
The simplest way to collect payment via your website using this form:
<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target="_blank">
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_xclick">
<input type="hidden" name="business" value="you@youremail.com">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Item person is paying for">
<input type="hidden" name="no_shipping" value="1">
<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="Dollar Amount of Payment" />
<input type="hidden" name="return" value="http://www.yourdomain.com/thanks.php">
<input type="hidden" name="cancel_return" value="http://www.yourdomain.com/">
<input type="image" src="images/x-click.gif" border="0" name="submit2" alt="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!">
</form>
Notes:
- You must have a paypal account to receive payment
- Make sure to change the recipient email address from "your@youremail.com" to your paypal email address
- Make sure to change the item_name and amount
- Note that I'm assuming you've created a page called "thanks.php" on your site that a user will see after making payment.
- The make payment button I'm using relies on a graphic galled "x-click.gif". You should download this graphic from this site, then upload it to your site, inside the folder called "images".
