- Your site should be "cleaned up" - remove files you are not using and move image files to a separate folder and sound files to a different separate folder.
The final assignment itself will amount for most of your grade since it superceeds the checkpoints we used as weekly assignments. Your presentation will be part of your class participation grade.
"C" webite: The site is broken or incomplete, though clearly effort has been made to satisfy each requirement. This usually results only if you fail to get key questions answered or if you do not meet with me one on one.
"B" website: This site meets the requirements, but is rough around the edges - for instance having inconsistent navigation, layout glitches or a component that his not fully working.
"A" website: Meets all of the requirements above, has no glaring errors, and either through design or effort or through addition of elements beyond the required elements above, exceeds expectations.
I have never had a student receive below a C. Most of you will receive B+or A-. Some will receive A's.
Note
that a website is an artistic creation, so I do take some liberty in the evaluation process. A strong site with a few mistakes can receive a higher grade than an error-free, but uninspired site.
